About The Position

The Libraries Strategic Technologies Department is seeking several part-time openings for students to assist with End-User Information Technology support. Students in all majors are welcome and encouraged to apply. Successful applicants require no experience as training for all duties will be provided. The position involves troubleshooting, ticket assignment, device preparation, and assisting patrons with specific services. The role is part-time, with hours varying between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm, requiring 10-15 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Be reliable.
  • Flexible in regard to scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting Windows, Mac and printer issues.
  • Assigning tickets in our helpdesk.
  • Preparing and updating devices for deployment.
  • Assisting patrons with our Virtual Reality and One Button Studio services.
