Our direct-services legal representation focuses on defending clients who are navigating criminal, child welfare, housing, and economic justice systems. SSR’s work is carried out by an interdisciplinary team of attorneys, advocates, investigators, and operations staff. Because SSR’s work depends on secure, reliable, and accessible technology systems, IT plays a critical role in protecting confidential client information, supporting staff effectiveness, and ensuring continuity of operations. About the Role The IT Support Specialist provides frontline technical support and day-to-day operational IT support across the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring staff have the tools, access, and systems they need to do their work effectively. This is a hands-on, service-oriented role focused on troubleshooting, device support, onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining core systems. The ideal candidate is responsive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable supporting a range of technical needs in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position reports to the IT Operations Manager and plays a key role in strengthening IT responsiveness, improving staff experience, and supporting operational continuity.
