We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical support to our employees. The IT Support Specialist will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, deploying new technology, and maintaining inventory. Responsibilities Provide technical support to employees on hardware and software issues Resolve IT support requests in a timely and effective manner Deploy new hardware and software to employees Must be open to travel to our nearby plants, quarries, branches, etc. Must be willing to take call a week at a time that will be from 5 to 9 pm Monday through Friday and 9 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday. Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets Develop and maintain technical documentation related to IT support operations Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to identify and address IT support needs and opportunities Stay up-to-date on emerging IT technologies and trends in the construction industry Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field Strong understanding of hardware and software support operations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
