About The Position

Lightology is seeking an on-site IT Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support and endpoint management for approximately 200 users, predominantly remote, and around 300 systems—including workstations, servers, and virtual machines—across three Chicago-area locations. This is a 100% on-site, hands-on role for a dependable, self-directed professional who takes ownership of assigned tasks and projects, asks clarifying questions, communicates status proactively, and delivers work on time with minimal supervision. The role operates in a fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with and direct feedback from senior leadership. The position is based at 1718 W Fullerton Ave in Chicago, with regular travel between Lightology's Fullerton, Skokie, and Chicago showroom locations. Travel and transporting equipment between locations are required. The role requires a valid driver's license, a reliable personal vehicle, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
