About The Position

Voyago is currently hiring a Full-Time IT Support Specialist for an existing vacancy in London, Ontario. This role supports the day-to-day IT operations through the IT Helpdesk. Please note: this role is not remote and does require you to be onsite in our London Ontario office.

Requirements

  • College diploma or equivalent in IT related field
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced experience with Windows OS environment, Microsoft 365 and its suite of applications (Teams, SharePoint and etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Ticket management platforms
  • Experience working with Smartphone and Tablet OS (eg. Android & iOS)
  • Strong technical knowledge, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work well in a team setting
  • Possess a full G license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Can provide a clean criminal record search
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to multitask
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Able to work onsite in our London Ontario location

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Help Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on Priority
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
  • Walk the customer through the problem-solving process
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Follow-up and update internal customer status and information
  • Pass on any feedback or suggestions by internal customers to the appropriate internal team
  • Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
