About The Position
A full-time, on-site IT Support Specialist role in Indianapolis, Indiana, supporting Autodesk and Bentley platforms used for large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The work focuses on system deployment, administration, and advanced support rather than CAD design or drafting. The specialist works with engineers, IT leadership, software vendors, and infrastructure teams to maintain reliable, high-performing CAD environments across the organization.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, CAD systems administration, or software deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk and Bentley platforms.
- Strong Windows OS, networking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting CAD environments in virtual or hybrid infrastructures.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ProjectWise, Autodesk Docs, or BIM 360.
- Scripting or automation experience, such as PowerShell, Python, or batch.
- Relevant Autodesk, Bentley, or CompTIA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support Autodesk and Bentley CAD systems, including Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
- Manage software updates, patches, configurations, and CAD standards.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for CAD performance, licensing, and interoperability issues.
- Serve as a primary technical contact for Autodesk and Bentley support.
- Administer licensing and support CAD data platforms, including ProjectWise, Autodesk Docs, and BIM 360.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to optimize workstation and virtual environments.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
