About The Position

Curant Health is searching for an IT Support Specialist to join its team in Smyrna, GA. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to internal employees and all corporate infrastructures. This includes all our Servers, Office 365, Software application, and all other IT related peripherals. This individual will be responsible for answering technical questions, troubleshooting, resolving users' issues, creating user accounts, and maintaining all servers. This individual should have experience in meeting and exceeding customer service SLAs. This role requires flexibility to be available for on-call rotational support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience of relevant work experience in a related position in an IT environment that delivers service to internal customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred.
  • Candidates with degrees in other fields must have significant compensating experience.

Responsibilities

  • Designing, organizing, modifying, and supporting the computer and network infrastructure.
  • Provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, website maintenance tasks, employee setup and maintenance, desktop support, and telecommunication services for employees in all locations.
  • Assuming responsibility for helpdesk support services.
  • Performing hardware, software, and network troubleshooting in a timely and effective manner.
  • Guiding the implementation of facilities infrastructure from the ground up with minimal supervision.
  • Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Performing regular security monitoring to identify any possible security breach.
  • Creating, changing, and deleting user accounts per request.
  • Setting up and supporting employee workstations and conference rooms.
  • Installing technology devices and equipment with the use of power tools.
  • Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures.
  • Coordinating and communicating with impacted constituencies.
  • Monitoring a database for all ticketed items and ensuring that the service tickets are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Keeping IT workspaces, including server rooms, clean and organized.
  • Servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and configuring network printers.
  • Providing an excellent level of customer support for employees, vendors, and clients of Curant Health.
  • Providing guidance of systems and hardware with our employees.
  • Creating documentation for technology functions.
  • Supporting information technology initiatives that link directly with our overall strategic business objectives as an organization.
  • Researching new technologies that could assist Curant Health in reducing costs and/or improve productivity as requested.
  • Researching and recommending innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Maintaining IT inventory system.
  • Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures.
  • Ensuring that employees stay abreast of technology changes that are made to support our business needs.
  • Acting as a change agent, and communicator.
