About The Position

The IT Support Specialist will act as the go-to IT expert for their Atlanta office. This is a Tier 2–3 support role where you’ll handle complex technical issues, support leadership teams, and help drive IT operations forward. This is a high-impact, visible role with the opportunity to grow into an IT Manager position within 2–3 years.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT support experience (Tier 2/3 preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting across: Windows OS, Microsoft Office / O365, Hardware and desktop systems, Basic networking
  • Experience with a ticketing/help desk system
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to support executives and Senior stakeholders
  • Desktop support & help desk operations
  • Active Directory
  • Hardware troubleshooting & configuration
  • IT infrastructure support
  • Asset and inventory management

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree or technical training in IT (or equivalent experience)
  • CompTIA A+
  • Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator
  • Cisco CCNA
  • Experience in a corporate office environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2–3 troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support executives and end users, including C-level interaction
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems
  • Escalate issues to vendors or higher-level support when needed
  • Maintain and monitor systems, devices, and IT infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot network issues (including rack & stack, cabling, outages)
  • Manage hardware, software, and asset inventory
  • Support Active Directory, O365, and desktop environments
  • Set up new users, permissions, and access
  • Handle IT service requests through a ticketing system
  • Provide guidance and training to users on systems and tools
  • Act as an IT liaison and point of contact for the office
  • Help mentor junior staff and support team development
  • Partner with IT leadership on processes and improvements
  • Assist in managing IT operations and performance
  • Support AV setups and conferencing tools when needed
  • Maintain documentation and improve service processes
  • Provide after-hours support as needed
  • Travel to other locations (10–15% travel)
