As our team scales, we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our Palo Alto office. Building large-scale foundation models and the AIDO framework requires a robust, secure, and high-performing technology infrastructure. In this role, you will manage and optimize our network, hardware, and systems, ensuring the reliability and security of the IT ecosystem that supports our cutting-edge AI research and development efforts globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration and support, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proficiency in managing Linux, Windows, and macOS systems, utilizing MDM solutions, particularly Jamf or JumpCloud.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP) and cybersecurity best practices, with hands-on experience deploying and managing security solutions like FortiNet VPN and firewalls.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), alongside familiarity with AWS or Azure.
  • Extensive experience managing Google Workspace in a corporate environment, including writing automation scripts (e.g., integrating with HRIS/Payroll systems).
  • Hands-on experience with the administration of essential developer and productivity tools, including GitLab, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in configuring and using infrastructure monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and IT projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor secure network infrastructure across all office locations to support high-performance computing and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
  • Manage Linux, Windows, and macOS server environments, overseeing the deployment of VMs and cloud services, alongside regular backups and disaster recovery planning.
  • Enforce cybersecurity policies, conduct regular vulnerability assessments, and manage incident response to protect systems and sensitive data.
  • Manage the IT helpdesk to provide timely troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues while proactively establishing IT best practices.
  • Configure and manage software applications and licenses, collaborating with development teams to deploy and optimize in-house solutions.
  • Oversee the procurement, installation, and asset tracking of all IT equipment, continuously evaluating new technologies to enhance team productivity.
  • Lead cross-functional IT projects to align with business objectives, and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.
