About The Position

Marathon TS is seeking qualified and skilled individuals to join our Next Generation Enterprise Network team for the Navy and Marine Corps. This role involves installing, configuring, servicing, repairing, and maintaining Information Technology (IT) systems in both stand-alone and client-server environments. Responsibilities include managing Microsoft (MS) servers, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and other authorized IT systems, as well as hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers. The position requires integrating multiple Information Systems (IS) in a networked environment, evaluating and resolving customer IS problems, and performing hardware upgrades and repairs to maintain mission capability. Additionally, the role involves installing and configuring wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware and software, and ensuring proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient network operation. The specialist will also install, optimize, and troubleshoot Local Area Network (LAN) and Base Area Networks (BAN).

Requirements

• CompTIA Security+
• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT).

Responsibilities
