About The Position

As an IT Support Intern at Sunstar Engineering Americas, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive, learning-focused environment. You will work with the mentors of Sunstar’s experienced IT Department and be encouraged to contribute ideas, ask questions, and improve your technical and professional skills. Whether you are helping with day-to-day activities, working on a departmental project, or performing a software/ hardware/ security solution investigation; your work will make a meaningful impact while benefiting your growth and development as an IT professional.

Requirements

• On or beginning an IT/IS career track
• Committed to strengthening their technical communication skills
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative
• Interested in participating in team-oriented activities
• Actively enrolled in a college or university program with at least 35 credit hours completed by the start of the internship
• Completed basic IT/IS courses
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and documentation

Nice To Haves

• In good academic standing (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)
• Strong technical mindset and interest in IT/IS
• Problem-solving mindset and curiosity

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day corporate IT department activities
• Assist employees with IT-related needs
