About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated IT Support Intern to join our IT department. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users through a ticketing system while gaining hands-on experience in IT troubleshooting and support operations. This internship offers valuable exposure to real-world IT environments and professional development under the mentorship of our IT Support Lead.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a computer science, information technology, or related program
Strong foundational knowledge of computer hardware and software
Proficiency with Windows operating systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure
Reliable and professional demeanor with a willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

Experience with IT ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar)
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Basic networking knowledge
Experience with Active Directory or user management systems
Previous internship or entry-level IT support experience

Responsibilities

Create, manage, and resolve support tickets in the IT ticketing system
Provide technical troubleshooting support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
Diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues
Document and track support tickets accurately, including problem description and resolution
Assist with user account creation, password resets, and access permissions
Perform basic system maintenance and troubleshooting
Escalate complex issues to the IT Support Lead or senior technical staff
