About The Position

Expedient is building a talent pool for future entry-level IT Support Associate roles at its Columbus, Ohio data centers. This posting is not tied to a specific opening. Candidates may submit a resume, and the recruiting team may contact them when a matching position becomes available. The role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise IT and data center infrastructure, including virtualization, networking, data protection, Windows, disaster recovery, and Linux/Unix. Associates generally handle Tier 1 support tickets, shift walks, routine audits, remote-hands requests, secure client access and equipment handling, shipping and receiving, front-desk duties and security checks, and technical requests from clients and employees by phone, email, or in person. They document activity and special requests in the ticketing system. Specific duties may vary by shift and team assignment. This is an on-site, client-facing role at the Columbus data center. The work involves sitting, walking, occasional lifting, walking facility perimeters, climbing ladders, and accessing tight spaces to inspect or install equipment. Expedient describes entry-level roles as career launchpads and provides training, opportunities to pursue fully funded industry certifications, and a preference for promoting from within. The posting describes shift premiums and overtime eligibility, as well as a benefits package for full-time employees.
