About The Position

We are looking for a talented IT Support Associate to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Cummins Inc. facility in Fridley, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, leading by example, resolving complex issues, driving process improvement, championing proactive support, leveraging data for insights, promoting continuous learning, and advancing quality and efficiency within IT support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Operational Excellence: Independently maintain the effectiveness and availability of IT systems, directly supporting end-user productivity and business continuity.
• Lead by Example: Coach and develop less experienced IT Support Associates, to foster a culture of growth, knowledge-sharing, and technical excellence.
• Resolve Complex Issues: Ability to diagnose and solve hardware and software problems with minimal direction to help reduce downtime and improve user satisfaction.
• Drive Process Improvement: Manage and enhance documentation and standards, ensuring consistency and clarity in IT support processes.
• Champion Proactive Support: Identify potential issues before they escalate and propose solutions that will help prevent disruptions and improve system reliability.
• Leverage Data for Insights: Analyze incident trends and take action to optimize support strategies and improve service delivery.
• Promote Continuous Learning: Train others and identify skill gaps to elevate team capabilities and ensure readiness for evolving technologies.
• Advance Quality and Efficiency: Apply Six Sigma principles and identify service improvement opportunities, to help reduce costs and streamline operations.
