About The Position

Louis Dreyfus Company is looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their North America team in Wilton, CT. This role serves as the primary IT contact for end-users, providing on-site incident management, request fulfillment, and technical support for approximately 1300 users. The support encompasses network, collaboration tools, end-user computing, and software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology
  • Minimum five years of technical experience performing desktop support
  • Troubleshooting workstation, operating system, software applications, and networking problems
  • Repairing hardware
  • Proficiency with current operation systems of Windows 10 or greater
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Proficiency with Windows Active Directory
  • Proficiency with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Proficiency with Citrix
  • Proficiency with MS Teams
  • Proficiency with Office 365/Exchange Administration
  • Proficiency with Intune
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict monthly deadlines
  • Proactively approaches job duties and potential problems
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate resolution for IT issues, escalating to 2nd/3rd level support when necessary, and ensuring follow-up with the customer/user. Support may include VIPs.
  • Accurately log all required information into the company call tracking system.
  • Ensure the availability of end-user computing and IT site services by installing operating systems, applications software, and hardware in accordance with IT standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Guide end-users with general questions and provide training on hardware, software, and operating system usage.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement, develop support documentation, and create knowledge base articles for common problems.
  • Notify management of increasing trends or unusual/repeated activity.
  • Support IT projects (e.g., hardware/software replacement, new sites) at the assigned site, providing local knowledge and personal service.
  • Organize end-user education on new technologies and training on new tools/solutions.
  • Manage user accounts including Active Directory, Office 365/Exchange, and business applications, as well as user file access.
  • Perform asset management, including receiving and inventorying ordered equipment.
  • Handle daily administrative duties such as submitting purchase orders, placing orders with vendors, and receiving equipment.
  • Act as the local site contact for external service repairs (printers, workstations) and third-party application support when on-site visits are needed.
  • Provide remote hands support to the Infra Ops team, including replacing networking equipment, managing switch ports, and performing tests.
