We are looking for a local IT Support Agent in Palm Bay, Florida, to strengthen our local user support team. Reporting to the US Proximity Agent Team Leader based in Sturtevant Wisconsin, the local IT Support Agent's main mandate is to assist users with everything related to the use of their software and computer equipment and IT needs of the facility they serve.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in IT related field or relevant IT certifications
  • On-site 5 days a week
  • Ability to travel periodically to other BRP locations (10-15%)
  • 2 + years of experience in computer support for users
  • Have acquired advanced technical skills allowing you to solve most complex problems
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft, Google Workspace, Service Now or similar
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work in a collaborative environment with focus on customer service.
  • Proven ability to balance independent decision-making with effective teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Windows OS
  • Basic understanding of networking and server administration

Responsibilities

  • Consider and resolve support service tickets, assist users in kiosk mode, and carry out physical interventions on user equipment.
  • Prepare and support computers of all kinds (laptops, desktops, etc.) as well as cell phones and all other types of assets to support our assembly, manufacturing, and logistics operations
  • Place and follow up service calls with the various hardware suppliers (Dell, Ricoh, Zebra, Panasonic, etc.)
  • Delivery of equipment to users and training in the BRP environment
  • Ensure escalation of recurring problems in order to notify colleagues and immediate supervisor
  • Be the face of IT to employees at your location
  • Serve several facilities in the SE USA
  • Provide hands on and remote technical support to end users
  • Manage IT asset inventory, tracking, deployment, recovery, and lifecycle management.
