About The Position

Dietz Property Group is seeking an IT Support Administrator (ISA) to join their IT and Technology Operations team. The ISA will be the primary day-to-day technical support resource, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of IT and technology for the company. This includes resolving help desk tickets, provisioning computers and user accounts, managing Microsoft 365 access, and maintaining device security and patching across the corporate office and apartment communities. The role involves close collaboration with the Director of IT and Technology Operations. Key attributes for success include reliability, a willingness to learn, and the ability to patiently assist non-technical team members.

Requirements

  • Two to four years of experience in an IT help desk or computer support role
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to DPG properties
  • Employment is contingent on a satisfactory background check

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or a Microsoft certification, or actively working towards one
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, or a remote management tool
  • Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls)
  • Experience in property management or with RealPage

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in Zendesk, keeping team members informed until issues are resolved
  • Troubleshoot everyday technical issues including logins, printers, email, phones, Wi-Fi, and business software
  • Visit properties to provide in-person support, set up equipment, and show team members how to use it as needed
  • Deploy and configure new computers using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot so devices can be shipped directly to the user
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of company equipment, including location, assignment, and replacement schedule
  • Order equipment and prepare it for new hires in coordination with People Services
  • Create, modify, and disable user accounts in line with DPG onboarding, seat changes, and offboarding processes
  • Manage access to Microsoft 365 services including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Monitor alerts from security tools and escalate anything significant to the Director of IT and Technology Operations
  • Keep computers current with operating systems and application updates and patches
  • Administer the staff security awareness training and phishing simulation program and follow up with team members who need additional help
  • Verify backups are working by performing test restores on a regular schedule
  • Coordinate with technology vendors (internet, printers, phones, PMS, and other business platforms) on support requests and service issues
  • Assist with the transition of services and documentation from our outsourced IT provider
  • Maintain clear, step-by-step documentation for recurring tasks and keep IT records current when changes are made
