About The Position
Live Oak Bank is seeking an onsite intern to join their 10-week Summer Internship program from May 17 to July 23, 2027, at their headquarters in Wilmington, NC. This role offers valuable experience with industry-standard applications and methodologies, as well as the opportunity to leverage new technologies in the FinTech space. The intern will contribute to shaping how internal users and customers conduct business, with the potential to influence global banking practices.
Requirements
- Must be available for the 10-week Summer Internship program (May 17 - July 23, 2027).
- Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, September 28th.
- Experience with Windows and Apple products
- Internet and intranet services knowledge
- Some familiarity with banking applications and support systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills required
Responsibilities
- Supporting corporate applications, cloud platforms, hardware, and employees across the Bank.
- Working closely with the IT Support and Infrastructure teams on assigned projects.
- Assisting employees in-person or remotely via TeamViewer to service their support requests.
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Bank software, hardware, and audio-visual systems.
- Innovating by building/scripting/automating processes for use in cloud production systems (Azure and AWS).
