IT Student Assistant
About The Position
This position functions as an IT student who will be assigned to work with and assist various Information Technology Project Coordinators and Managers in a wide range of professional assignments that span the entire information technology project environment. The IT Student will acquire knowledge and skills to allow him/her to provide design, development, testing, maintenance and oversight of project schedules that are logical and resource driven to support project management and portfolio management activities. The IT student position will assist project managers in the creation and maintenance of project information utilizing the State of Michigan Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) tool. This includes assisting PPM tool users with tool related issues, including problem analysis and resolution.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in post-secondary educational institution in an IT related degree program.
- No specific type or amount of experience is required.
- The student must provide evidence of enrollment or acceptance to an educational institution.
