About The Position

The University of South Florida (USF) is seeking an IT Analytics Student Assistant to support the Analytics & Data Management Solutions team. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional IT environment, providing exposure to reporting, data quality, documentation, and technology operations. USF is a large, research-intensive public university located in the Tampa Bay region, known for its innovation and high quality of life.

Requirements

Must be a current USF student during the appointed semester and meet all USF student employment requirements.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
Current work authorization in the United States. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

Major in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, or data analysis coursework.
Interest in analytics, reporting, data management, or business intelligence.

Responsibilities

Support the Analytics & Data Management Solutions team with data validation, report testing, documentation, data quality reviews, process improvement activities, and other operational tasks.
Assist with maintaining team documentation, creating training materials, supporting reporting initiatives, and performing administrative duties as assigned.
