About The Position

DNUS, Inc. is seeking an IT Specialist to provide end-user support for SAP systems and other IT-related concerns. This role involves troubleshooting, user assistance, system monitoring, training, and documentation within both office and production environments. The IT Specialist will address IT issues that interrupt production operations and support various communication systems and IT equipment. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in SAP end-user support or a similar role.
  • Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC 6.0
  • Experience in providing user training and preparing documentation.

  • MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in working with EDI (830/ 850/ 856/ 862/ 810/ 820/ 824).
  • Experience in working with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
  • Experience in working with OpenText B2B Management Center.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., automotive, manufacturing) where SAP is extensively used.
  • Knowledge of SAP implementation and project management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to end-user queries related to SAP modules (SD/MM/PP/FICO) and provide timely resolutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve SAP-related technical and functional issues, including system errors and transaction problems.
  • Perform daily system health checks and collaborate with SAP Basis Consultant teams to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create/update user manuals for SAP functionalities.
  • Document all support tickets, resolutions, and escalations.
  • Work closely with teams, SAP consultants, and business analysts to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for SAP system improvements and participate in testing new updates and functionalities.
  • Ensure SAP end-users comply with company SAP usage policies and assist in maintaining data integrity and security.
  • Take possession of Client/User/IT/Communication concerns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing software and equipment.
  • Investigate computer issues for plant and office personnel.
  • Provide technical support for plant and office personnel during shift hours.
  • Maintain inventory list of IT equipment.
  • Provide support for all communication systems including telephone lines, cellular phones, cabling, telecommunication billing, fax, copier and ordering of services and supplies.
  • Install and configure new systems and reallocate older systems.
  • Routinely update ticketing system on a regular basis.
  • Maintain effective security and virus protection systems for server and desktop computers.
  • Address IT issues that interrupt production operations.
  • Work in both an office setting and production/manufacturing area with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
  • Perform moderate levels of walking, standing, bending, and lifting when performing job duties in the production area.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities related to IT coverage for the company.
