About The Position

Watring is seeking an IT Specialist to help provide support at our Huntsville, AL office. This position is 100% onsite.

Requirements

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance.
• 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing networks in both unclassified and classified environments.
• Ability to manage CAD and No Magic Cameo licenses and installations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Associates degree.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree.
• Information System Security Officer (ISSO) experience.

Responsibilities

• Administration of both unclassified and classified networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and printer issues for internal staff.
• Install software updates, perform routine system checks, run backups, and manage user accounts and passwords.
• Monitor Local Area Networks (LAN) to minimize downtime.
• Apply security protocols, set up firewalls, and protect sensitive company data against cyber threats.
• Configure new laptops, desktops, servers, and standard workplace applications.
