About The Position

As an IT Specialist at QLI, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and applications within the organization by delivering exceptional relationship-based technology support that prioritizes the needs of our team members, residents/clients, and family members. With expertise in administering Office 365, PCC, and other related systems, they provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions and improvements. Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) and two years of IT work experience.
  • Proven experience in providing helpdesk and user support in a corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in administering Office 365 applications and services.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with users at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Cisco Meraki
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or equivalent
  • Proficient with administering and managing Microsoft SharePoint

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, addressing issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Office 365, Cisco Meraki, and other systems as needed, ensuring proper functionality and security.
  • Assist in the administration and configuration of PCC (Point Click Care) or similar platforms, maintaining system integrity and user access.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions for IT-related challenges and improvements, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Document and maintain IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and training, ensuring continuity of operations and user empowerment.
  • Conduct software installations, upgrades, and patches to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure, monitoring system performance and security proactively.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems, data, and network infrastructure from unauthorized access and other threats.
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, providing technical expertise and support as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT support and administration, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to effectively fulfill job responsibilities and support the mission.
