As the sole IT Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including being the primary contact for the IT help desk, troubleshooting technology issues, and onboarding new team members. Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IT Help Desk Support, System Administrator, or similar role, or equivalent education with drive.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Direct customer service experience (internal or external).
  • Previous experience supporting software transitions.
  • A proactive attitude, willing to take on tasks outside of a narrow job description.
  • Enthusiasm for both routine tasks and unexpected challenges.
  • Enjoyment in bringing projects to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time IT support to team members.
  • Assist the IT Manager in building the infrastructure to support company growth.
  • Provide day-to-day support of the company's tech stack.
  • Manage the IT Help Desk, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving them via the ticketing system.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal team members.
  • Assist in inventory management of hardware and software subscriptions/licenses.
  • Onboard and offboard new team members, including IT setup and system access.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the IT Manager and Technology team.
  • Contribute to building and improving the IT function in a fast-growing company.
  • Work effectively both in an office and remotely.
  • Meet Helpdesk ticket resolution targets and SLA metrics.
  • Maintain the annual computer replacement schedule.
