We have an opportunity for an IT Specialist to join the Information Technology team in maintaining the computer environment and related systems and to provide exceptional customer service to end users which may include responding to telephone calls, emails, and other requests for technical support.

Requirements

  • Technical school, IT certification, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Exposure to Windows Operating Systems, AEC software, and networking technologies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, be willing and able to learn new technologies and concepts and be able to work as part as a team or independently on assignments.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work assignments.
  • Valid driver’s license, as interoffice travel will be necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing problems with Microsoft Windows operating systems, client software, and computer equipment.
  • Maintaining, in working order, all peripheral equipment: printers, scanners, etc.
  • Installing and configuring necessary software and service packs, including using remote deployment systems.
  • Providing technical support and assistance to staff as needed.
  • Identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.
  • Documenting, tracking, and monitoring the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
  • Interacting with associates with a professional, yet personable demeanor
  • Periodic site visits to our other locations throughout eastern and central PA.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
