IT Specialist
About The Position
This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a strong understanding of best practices and methodologies. The specialist will be responsible for managing test scenarios, executing test cases across various testing phases (SIT, Performance, UAT), and developing test case specifications, automation, and data generation. The position involves analyzing results, identifying issues, writing bug reports, and interacting with business stakeholders and external support providers to gather and analyze requirements. The specialist will also prioritize requirements, create reports using PowerBuilder, MS Office, and SQL, and demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
- Strong understanding of software testing best practices and test methodologies.
- Strong understanding and experience developing test cases (regression, functional, unit, integration, performance, end-to-end, etc.)
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and MS Visio.
Responsibilities
- Manage Test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases (e.g. SIT, Performance, UAT).
- Ability to write test case specifications, automation and data generation.
- Analyze results, identify functional and performance issues and write clear and detailed bug reports.
- Ability to interact with business stakeholders, system integrators and external support providers for collecting/analyzing requirements.
- Ability to work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
- Ability to create and generate reports using PowerBuilder, MS office tools and SQL.
