About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • Required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code SYSTEMS DEVELOPER, proficiency level BASIC the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • Resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band NH-2 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Specialized experience must demonstrate: Executing, coordinating, and implementing Enterprise Configuration and Data Management processes and activities for Information Warfare systems and capabilities.
  • Experience must also reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) activities for alignment with CM practices in accordance with enterprise organizational CM policy.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of Enterprise Life Cycle Configuration Management (CM) processes within Platform and Product Program offices, ensuring alignment with current CM statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Analysis of CM processes and provides recommendations for improvements, standardization, and efficiency.
  • Review of Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) for alignment with current policy and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA) activities for alignment with CM practices in accordance with enterprise organizational CM policy.
  • Development and provision of CM process training, briefs, and guidance as needed to support enterprise organizational CM.
