About The Position

This role acts as the primary point of contact for vendors and Albertsons' Technical Teams for the installation, configuration, routine maintenance, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, applications, and related technology at the site. The specialist will identify and research technical problems of varying complexity, ensure seamless system interconnectivity, and maintain hardware/software inventories and warranties. They will also manage vendor maintenance visits, report to the General Manager, and collaborate with Production Maintenance Technicians to ensure an optimal technical environment. Accurate logging and documentation of issues and work efforts, assistance with technical document creation, and completion of end-user onboarding and offboarding tasks are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience in a technical support environment
  • Experience working w MS Office, ServiceNow, basic IP networking and troubleshooting.
  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced customer service environment.
  • Someone who enjoys supporting and troubleshooting technical issues.

  • Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent combination of education, technical certification or training, or work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as point-of-contact for vendor and Albertsons’ Technical Teams for the installation, configuration, routine maintenance, and ongoing usability of desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, applications, and related technology used at the site within established guidelines.
  • Identify and research technical problems of varying complexity and follow through to resolution.
  • Ensure systems interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems, including servers and peripherals.
  • Maintain appropriate hardware/software inventories and warranties, as well as managing vendor maintenance visits for all managed technologies at the site.
  • Reports to the General Manager and collaborates closely with Production Maintenance Technicians, ensure an optimal/efficient technical environment including equipment configurations.
  • Accurately log/document all issues and work efforts.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of technical documents.
  • Completes tasks related to end-user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Other duties as assigned concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
