IT Specialist/Manager

InSite HealthMarlton, NJ
$80,000 - $130,000Hybrid

About The Position

InSite Health is a leading behavioral health organization partnering with several hundred schools to deliver best-in-class mental health programs for students. We are equally committed to supporting the employees who make this work possible by fostering a culture of care, collaboration, and shared purpose. We leverage proprietary technology and a collaborative care model to help districts identify, support, and manage student needs more effectively by integrating clinical services, data-driven insights, and streamlined workflows. This approach helps reduce symptoms in students, improve outcomes, decrease risk, and allow schools to operate more efficiently across their behavioral health programs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support, systems administration, or infosec-adjacent role
  • Hands-on experience managing device provisioning/de-provisioning and endpoint management tools (JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Huntress)
  • Solid understanding of security fundamentals: identity and access management, endpoint protection, network basics, and common threat vectors
  • Experience administering common business SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, HR/IT systems)
  • Comfortable working independently and setting priorities without a large team around you
  • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical colleagues
  • Experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment, where processes are still being built

Nice To Haves

  • familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to health tech (HIPAA, SOC 2) or experience supporting client-facing technical integrations/APIs
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 certification efforts, including audit preparation, documentation, implementation of controls, and ongoing compliance.
  • Ability to work closely with the technology team to drive and maintain SOC 2 certification.
  • Previous experience in a small organization or as the primary/sole IT practitioner, with a hands-on approach to infrastructure, security, and user support.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT support (hardware, software, account access, connectivity issues)
  • Administer core business systems: identity/access management (SSO), email, endpoint management, and SaaS application access
  • Own and continuously improve our security posture — including endpoint protection, patch management, access controls, and security awareness practices
  • Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation (onboarding/off-boarding checklists, acceptable use, data handling, etc.)
  • Support compliance efforts relevant to a health tech company (e.g., HIPAA-related safeguards, vendor security reviews, audit prep)
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents as they arise
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers (JumpCloud, Google Workspace, Huntress)
  • As the company grows, potentially support client-facing technical work — helping customers with integrations and technical setup within our software platform
