About The Position

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a IT Specialist I that will be working in a team environment responsible for the provisioning of access to all employees, contractors, and other business resources, including creating, maintaining, and removing user accounts to various systems and ensuring the right level of access at the right time. Adhering to guidelines, policies, and protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to urgently troubleshoot user access problems and determine appropriate corrective action.
  • Experience recording, tracking, and managing requests in an online ticket management system.
  • Proficient in using spreadsheets and word processing software, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow or similar) for managing incidents, requests, and user access, with a focus on SLA compliance, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices.
  • Some knowledge and/or experience in Role-based Access Control methods.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance (SOX, JSOX.)
  • Base Level Security Certification/ Training, such as CompTIA Security+ is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process all provisioning requests in compliance with the process and procedures.
  • Maintain user’s oracle records such as oracle responsibilities, HRMS records, Customer Master, Supplier Master.
  • Work with IAM (Identity and Access Management) team and Engineer to roadmap IAM processes.
  • Work to improve provisioning process design/business rules.
  • Participate in projects to ensure standard processes and procedures are implemented when rolling out new provisioning and role management points.
  • Troubleshoot security and workflow issues independently or in collaboration with Information Systems teams and/or stakeholders while adhering to internal service standards.
  • Providing primary operational support for IAM security events and alerts.
  • Create process documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
