About The Position

First Southern Bank is looking for an IT Specialist I to join our team! Under the guidance and direction of the IT Manager, the IT Specialist will respond to end-user requests for support, install, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, software, and computer peripheral.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong technical knowledge for trouble shotting workstations hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software: Windows 10, 11 and Office 365.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with associates who have limited technical knowledge
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Help-desk user support trouble shooting reported issues and providing solutions for PCs, windows operating systems, printers, and peripherals.
  • Help-desk user support trouble shooting reported issues and providing solutions for banking software and applications.
  • Setup, configure, and install workstation hardware, software, and peripherals for end-users.
  • Setup and manage user accounts in windows Active Directory and banking software and applications.
