The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for an IT Software Support Co-op, come grow with us! This is for a 4-month Co-op position for the September 2026 work term. JOB OVERVIEW: Reporting to the Director, Quality, the IT Student will support the continued implementation and administration of the Document Management software system. This role will assist with software testing, troubleshooting, and the development of additional system functionality, including electronic forms and related tools. The position requires ongoing interaction with the software provider to support issue resolution, system improvements, and continuous enhancement of the software to meet organizational and departmental needs across the organization.

Requirements

  • Working towards a Diploma/Degree in Computer Sciences, Big Data or similar.
  • Excellent organizations skills and able to effectively prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.

  • Participate in seminars, courses, and other learning opportunities throughout the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Any fluency in French and/or Spanish is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the continued implementation, configuration, and administration of the Document Management software system across HPS departments.
  • Perform system testing for software updates, new modules, workflows, forms, and functionality enhancements to ensure proper operation and usability.
  • Assist with the development, configuration, and maintenance of electronic forms, workflows, templates, and other system tools to support operational and Business Management System requirements.
  • Troubleshoot software, user, and system-related issues, escalating and coordinating with the software provider as required to support timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate with software providers and internal users regarding system issues, enhancements, testing feedback, and ongoing support activities.
  • Assist with maintaining system organization, permissions, user access, and administrative settings within the document management software.
