Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Valid driver’s License.
  • 1 or more years work experience in an IT support role.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb and work from a ladder as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Information Technology.
  • 1 or more years of experience working in a network environment.
  • 1 or more years of experience in a field technician position.
  • Proven multitasker, ability to maintain positive attitude and prioritize tasks in a busy and rapidly changing environment.
  • Results oriented and willing to travel outside your assigned area as needed to assist others.
  • Project management experience.
  • Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform new installations, break/swap service to include: Install and troubleshoot HP Win11 Enterprise computers, HP monitors, HP laser printers, Symbol barcode scanners, Dymo and Monarch label printers.
  • Call clients (internal and external); schedule new installs, service calls and software trainings.
  • Communicate (phone, email, text, Webex...) with Clients, Sales, Phlebotomy, Warehouse, Network Operations, Vendors, etc.
  • Install and troubleshoot preconfigured Cisco networking devices: Meraki VPN, WAPs, and patch panels.
  • Order, maintain local I.T. hardware inventory and RMA of devices.
  • Connect/install/troubleshoot internet sources: ATT Nighthawks, Verizon Dragons, Cisco MG41/51 and Broadband modems.
  • Install proprietary software, schedule onsite installations with Clients.
  • Configure / troubleshoot proprietary software, train clients onsite and by Hosting Webex training sessions.
  • Work with Active Directory (adding/deleting/moving PC's), MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Webex, Teams, Service Now Helpdesk ticketing software, PeopleSoft, Bomgar and Webex.
  • Support a variety of corporate and local IT projects.
  • Perform other duties as required.
