About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10 The Team: S&P Global Data Delivery is based on a robust, state-of-the-art Software as a Service platform powering the delivery of market data & information to clients. Meeting the most stringent performance standards in throughput, speed, and reliability, the platform supports multiple high-availability applications for professionals in financial and corporate institutions around the globe. The Data Delivery Operations group in S&P Global focuses on providing clients with world-class service and operational excellence. The initiative focuses on leveraging S&P Global’s highly regarded expertise in financial markets to develop innovative solutions to service client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant IT-focused experience
  • Proven experience in API integration and programming skills in Python, Java, JSON, SQL, and XML.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a technical troubleshooting background.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with operational tooling and automation techniques.
  • Proficient understanding of software systems and enterprise application development.
  • Experience in AzureDevOps, Splunk, Salesforce, MS Excel, and Power BI.
  • Ability to generate insights from operational metrics and drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement customized file configurations tailored to client needs.
  • Provide expert technical troubleshooting and problem-solving for API integrations.
  • Deliver technical consultancy to facilitate smooth API integration processes, and data sharing into warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Lead client migration projects from legacy systems to our Data Delivery platform.
  • Champion process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage monthly KPI reporting, generating insights from operational metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Identify and specify application issues, collaborating with Product & Development teams for improvements.
  • Engage proactively with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning within the team.
