We are searching for an IT Service Desk Technician to join our IT team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Must provide remote application support
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage time wisely
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must have experience with PC hardware
  • 1 or more years of service desk (help desk) experience required
  • 1 or more years of customer service experience required
  • Applicant must have a valid Driver’s license and have reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree, A+, or similar technical certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer end user telephone calls and emails in a prompt and professional manner
  • Accurately record incident information using the Service Desk ticketing system
  • Troubleshoot point-of-sale, application, hardware, telephone, and network incidents
  • Escalate incidents to level 2 based on initial troubleshooting
  • Computer and general IT equipment repairs
  • Load Windows computers and applications based on specified company configurations
  • Prepare point-of-sale system equipment
  • Travel to company locations to perform break/fix work and troubleshoot incidents related to hardware, services, and network
