Hatch is seeking an IT Service Desk Technician Intern. Reporting to the Shared Services group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an associate’s degree in in computer technology, information technology, computer science, or a relevant field
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair all forms of PC related problems
• Well-developed communication both written and oral skills
• Any Microsoft Certification
• A+ Certification
• Any previous experience with Computer Support or Administration
• Customer related skills experience
• Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects
• Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support to Hatch employees including
• Hardware support for desktop PC's
• Software support for desktop PC's
• Rebuilding and reconfiguration of PC’s
• Application support for MS Office Suite
• Operate Help Desk and provide over the phone support
