About The Position

NTT DATA is seeking an IT Sales/Managed Services Sr Sales Executive focused on the Healthcare Payer industry. This remote role requires a strong background in IT Sales, specifically within Managed Services/Professional Services, and established relationships in the Healthcare Payer sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Information Technology and Digital Solutions sales, with the ability to navigate complex business and technology landscapes to deliver impactful insights and solutions. The role involves combining industry expertise with innovations in digital, cloud, and automation across consulting, applications, infrastructure, and business process services to achieve tangible business results. This is a hunter-type sales position focused on generating, qualifying, and closing new business with C-suite decision-makers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT Services sales and/or professional services sales
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience selling into enterprise Healthcare Payer clients
  • 7+ years of IT Sales experience in the Managed Services/Professional Services space
  • Strong relationships in the Healthcare Payer industry
  • Deep understanding of Information Technology and Digital Solutions sales and technology and/or professional services sales
  • Specific client knowledge of the modern complexities of business and technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates boardroom executive presence

Responsibilities

  • Sells complex managed services, full IT Outsourcing solutions, application services, and industry vertical solutions including regulatory compliance, digital, mobile, transformational services, application management/support, digital workplace services, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
  • Demonstrates a history of success in a sales hunter role with the ability to acquire net new logos.
  • Possesses a passion for improving healthcare and patient outcomes and is recognized as an expert in Healthcare Payer service solutions.
  • Articulates the value proposition of IT managed and professional services to clients.
  • Sells creatively into large national Health Plans and demonstrates successful deal closures.
  • Interfaces with and influences C-level executives within customer organizations.
  • Designs and implements sales strategies to achieve sales quotas.
  • Assesses potential sales opportunities and develops value propositions.
  • Applies a deep understanding of business, financials, service offerings, the market, and client needs/challenges.
  • Understands and applies the long-term vision of business/technology direction for NTT DATA.
  • Drives services sales strategies to achieve exponential sales growth.
  • Meets and/or exceeds annual quotas of $10+ million in Revenue.
  • Understands the competitive landscape for IT services and anticipates market and competitive factors.
  • Travels up to 40% of the time.
