About The Position

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking an IT Project Manager to support the 633d Communications Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia. This position will support the F-22 FTU Beddown and other communications requirements through IT project management, enterprise architecture planning, requirements processing, configuration management, and implementation support. The IT Project Manager will coordinate technical, schedule, logistics, and customer requirements to help move approved IT projects from planning through implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience performing similar IT project management tasks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT concepts, practices, procedures, networks, and information systems.
  • Experience with IT project management and requirements processing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
  • Strong project management, customer service, briefing, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must possess a Secret security clearance or be able to successfully obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Minimum two-year college degree in an IT-related field required. Demonstrated relevant work experience and appropriate IT certifications and/or training may be accepted in lieu of the degree on a case-by-case basis, as permitted by the PWS.

Responsibilities

  • Support IT enterprise architecture planning, engineering, project management, and configuration management.
  • Support efficient use and management of network devices, including switches, routers, and TACLANEs.
  • Process and track communications requirements, support engineering of technical solutions, and manage project implementation.
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules, milestones, completion dates, and Gantt charts using Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Develop implementation plans for approved projects and programs.
  • Evaluate existing IT projects and requirements and provide recommendations for Government consideration.
  • Support logistics management for unit systems, including material control and project logistics.
  • Support development and maintenance of CONOPs, MOAs, SOAs, and related agreements and documentation.
  • Apply ITIL processes and industry best practices to support reliable and efficient IT service delivery.
  • Support evaluation and implementation of innovative and emerging technologies, including technology insertion, configuration control, testing, fielding, training, and support coordination.
  • Coordinate IT planning activities with Civil Engineering and other stakeholders as required.
