About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Major Incident Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX or Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is focused on Major Incident Management within a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating triage activities with multiple support teams, driving production issues to resolution, and communicating with senior leadership, all while leveraging a strong understanding of ITIL processes.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of technology experience
• Strong knowledge of the Major Incident Management Process
• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) processes
• Ability to stay calm and lead triage and troubleshooting activities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal (leading meetings) and written
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deliverables on-time
• Experience with tools such as Cisco Webex, Mattermost, Microsoft Office Suite, and ITSM Remedy

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ITIL and ITSM
• Previous knowledge and work experience within a large banking environment is helpful
• ServiceNow experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitate triage activities with multiple support teams, including Senior Leadership
• Take ownership of production issues and drive them to service restoral and remediation
• Open and manage Incident and Problem tickets within the ITSM system
• Document key triage activities and provide clear, concise written updates to leadership
• Work with regional and international support partners to resolve issues
