About The Position

World Travel Holdings is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of customer-facing digital experiences in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment. The role combines traditional project management responsibilities with Scrum Master practices to help teams plan, execute, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives. The IT Project Manager manages digital product and web-based initiatives, balancing long-range planning with day-to-day team execution, and partners with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/UI, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to drive delivery, manage risks and dependencies, and achieve successful outcomes across multiple initiatives. The role leads B2B Franchise application delivery from intake through launch, manages project plans and delivery artifacts, facilitates Agile ceremonies, removes impediments, supports continuous improvement, and communicates progress and risks to stakeholders and leadership. It also champions consistent delivery practices and seeks opportunities to use AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to improve workflows, decision-making, and team productivity.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience in a technology or software delivery environment.
At least 3 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or facilitating Agile teams.
Strong understanding of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
Experience managing IT back-end and customer-facing initiatives in partnership with Franchise stakeholders and software engineering teams.
Proficiency with Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving work to completion.

Nice To Haves

PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certification.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of B2B Franchise applications from intake through launch.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource needs.
Track progress against project goals and communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate cross-functional alignment and drive accountability for project commitments.
Identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Maintain project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and decision tracking.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
Support teams in achieving sprint commitments and delivery objectives.
Track and report team velocity, sprint progress, and delivery.
Remove impediments and help teams identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Promote Agile principles and help teams apply them within World Travel Holdings' hybrid delivery model.
Support retrospective action items and continuous improvement efforts within the Scrum team.
Promote ownership, accountability, transparency, collaboration, and early risk identification across the team.
Build relationships across business and technology teams and translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
Facilitate conversations, drive decisions, and resolve conflicts when priorities compete.
Provide executive-level communication about progress, risks, and recommendations.
Champion consistent delivery processes, standards, and governance practices.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern delivery tools to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and enhance team productivity.
Contribute to continuous improvement through retrospectives, lessons learned, and process enhancement initiatives.
