About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Oracle Techno-Functional Specialist for its Enterprise Core Technology group. The role bridges business processes and technical execution across Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud environments. It combines functional analysis—including requirements elicitation, process mapping, and module configuration—with hands-on technical delivery using Oracle tools, API integrations, and reporting solutions. The position aligns enterprise software capabilities with business objectives to deliver seamless, scalable, and resilient solutions. The role includes translating business requirements into functional and technical design documents; configuring Oracle ERP modules; developing technical solutions, reports, integrations, and data pipelines; and optimizing business processes across operational and financial workstreams. The analyst partners with business leaders, functional workstream leads, and solution architects, and supports data governance, migration, testing, user adoption, enterprise upgrades, and cloud modernization. The position also provides Tier-3 production support, root-cause analysis, and lasting resolutions for complex production issues.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience designing and implementing Oracle E-Business Suite applications and Oracle Cloud applications.
Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the United States; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
Proven expertise combining functional configuration and technical development across Oracle EBS (R12) and Oracle Cloud Applications / Infrastructure (OCI).
In-depth functional understanding of core operational workflows, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), or Oracle Financials suites.
Hands-on experience developing BI Publisher/XML Publisher reports, custom interfaces, workflows, and database procedures using SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with business process mapping, gap analysis, and authoring AIM/OUM deliverables, such as MD050 and MD070 specifications.
Proven ability to lead test cycle execution, coordinate UAT, and deliver end-user training.
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, version control systems such as Git, and enterprise DevOps release practices.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical business partners.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or enterprise middleware platforms.
Chicago residency is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Technical Design Documents (TDDs).
Configure core Oracle ERP modules and develop custom technical solutions using native Oracle development tools and frameworks.
Architect and implement secure REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and automated data pipelines that connect Oracle with third-party enterprise platforms.
Lead business process re-engineering, gap analyses, and setup configurations across operational and financial workstreams.
Support high-volume transactional and master data structuring, governance, validation, and analytics across enterprise systems.
Collaborate with business leaders, functional workstream leads, and solution architects to validate designs, refine requirements, and drive user adoption.
Drive end-to-end data migration, functional validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and system integrations during enterprise upgrades and cloud modernization initiatives.
Provide Tier-3 techno-functional production support, troubleshoot complex issues, perform root-cause analyses, and engineer sustainable resolutions.
Lead test cycle execution, coordinate UAT, and deliver end-user training.
