About The Position
This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison. The IT Project Manager provides overarching leadership and serves as the single point of accountability for all contractual, staffing, status, and issue-resolution matters. This role involves monitoring the status of activities, including scheduled deliverables and tasks, facilitating efficient project execution, developing project schedules, proactive stakeholder communication, and issue resolution.
Requirements
- 7 years of exp managing staff and deliverables similar in size, complexity, and nature. To be considered recent, 5 of the 7 years experience must have been gained within the past 5 years.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Bachelor of Science Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, Business Organizational Change Management, or related field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Nice To Haves
- Prior government experience is desired.
