About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and support business transformation across our U.S. operations. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Customer Service, Maintenance, HSSEQ, and Operational Excellence teams to deliver IT projects from planning through implementation while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading IT projects, business systems implementations, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in logistics, manufacturing, industrial, chemical, terminal, or similar environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and managing vendors and third-party partners.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, systems integrations, reporting platforms, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, including verification of the previous seven (7) years of employment and criminal history.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and have no criminal history that would disqualify the individual from doing so.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the position is located and maintain an acceptable driving record.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT and Operational Excellence projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Partner with cross-functional business leaders to identify and deliver technology-driven process improvements.
  • Gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee system implementations, integrations, testing, training, and change management activities.
  • Monitor project performance and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Support continuous improvement of project management practices and operational processes.
