About The Position
A leading New York-based IT solutions provider specializing in global business transformation is seeking a bilingual IT Project Manager. They offer comprehensive IT services, including ERP implementation and managed services, to diverse international clients, helping them optimize operations through innovative technology and dedicated support. This role will lead and support IT projects and support desk functions for their diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will manage project lifecycles, coordinate with vendors, and ensure delivery within scope and budget while maintaining high-quality user support.
Requirements
- Native-level Japanese and professional English proficiency.
- 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Ability to manage project management systems, SharePoint, and work log systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to compliance and professional standards.
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in Japan.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update project documentation, manage vendor activities, and ensure flawless execution of projects on time and within budget.
- Provide support desk functions, handle inquiries, track incident statuses, and execute predefined operational tasks.
- Analyze project/support case performance versus forecasts, identify areas for improvement, and report statuses to senior management.
- Provide guidance and motivation to team members, coordinating internal and external resources to meet milestones.
- Proactively streamline operations and propose solutions to optimize business processes.
