Dominium is currently seeking a full-time hybrid IT Project Manager based near one of our regional offices (Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; or Plymouth, MN) POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology workstreams that support the sale and acquisition of properties, as well as enterprise IT initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure, applications, security, data, vendors, and business stakeholders to support the transition of systems, data, and services throughout the property lifecycle. The IT Project Manager helps establish project governance, monitors risks and dependencies, and provides regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • Assoicates or equivalent in Project Management, Engineering, Professional PMP, PMI-ACP
  • 5–8+ years in IT project management.
  • Working knowledge of waterfall and agile delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with enterprise IT environments, including networks, identity and access management, endpoint management, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS), and security or compliance frameworks.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience negotiating TSAs, and coordinating with MSPs and OEMs.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts IT due diligence for property sales and acquisitions by identifying and documenting systems, infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and vendor contracts associated with the property or business unit.
  • Coordinates IT separation activities for property sales, including system offboarding, endpoint recovery, access removal, and contract transitions in partnership with internal IT teams.
  • Supports the development and execution of IT integration plans for newly acquired properties, ensuring alignment with enterprise infrastructure, hardware, and network standards.
  • Assists with onsite IT transition activities during acquisitions or property takeovers, including traveling to locations when necessary to support connectivity setup and operational readiness.
  • Coordinates with third-party IT dispatch vendors to schedule and support onsite services required during property acquisitions, sales, and IT transition activities.
  • Maintains detailed project plans in the designated project management tool to track project milestones, deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Prepares project documentation, including project charters, RACI matrices, status reports, and other standardized materials to support project governance.
  • Monitors project progress and track project-related risks, issues, and scope changes, communicating updates to stakeholders as needed.
  • Compiles and distributes project status updates, reports, and presentations for leadership and stakeholder meetings.
  • Tracks project budgets and related financial details to support project oversight and reporting.
  • Coordinates communication among cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Identifies opportunities for improvement and support the development of standardized templates, documentation, and processes to enhance efficiency for future IT transactions and projects.
