About The Position

The Project Manager for IT Change Management leads enterprise-level change initiatives across a large academic medical network. This role manages the planning, execution, and adoption of technology deployments, including AI solutions, large Epic EHR go-lives, Workday deployments, and other system-wide changes. The Project Manager partners closely with clinical, administrative, and IT stakeholders to ensure changes are effectively communicated, adopted, and integrated into operations with minimal disruption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5–7 years managing complex technology or organizational change projects, preferably in healthcare or non-profit environments.
  • Experience leading enterprise software deployments (Epic, Workday, AI/ML applications, data platforms).
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management methodology and change management expertise.
  • Ability to navigate matrixed organizations and influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Workday LMS

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in business, healthcare, IT, or related field preferred.
  • PMP, PMI‑ACP, Prosci, or comparable project/change management certification OR relevant history of change management work strongly preferred.
  • Experience in large academic medical centers or complex health systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, clinical workflows, or revenue cycle operations.
  • Understanding of AI governance, data privacy, and digital health technologies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise change management frameworks.
  • Ability to translate technical change impacts into operational language.
  • Experience developing communication and training materials for clinical and administrative audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans that drive adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Coordinate communication, training, impact assessments, and readiness activities for system implementations and upgrades.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings, status reporting, and escalation management for large and complex technology projects.
  • Partner with technical teams (AI, Epic, Workday, infrastructure, cybersecurity) to translate technical requirements into operational impacts.
  • Monitor project performance, track deliverables, and ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives by identifying process improvement opportunities and promoting best practices.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient-centered care priorities.
