About The Position

The IT Project Manager will lead the full lifecycle of Azure and M365 deployment projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires collaboration with business leadership, technical teams, and vendors to ensure project alignment and effective communication. The position also involves supporting change management efforts, coordinating training and end-user communications, and overseeing vendor-related tasks. Additionally, the IT Project Manager will coordinate and assist with technical proof of concept initiatives and pilot rollouts, provide regular project status updates, and track project risks and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of project management experience, including large-scale IT deployment projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure and M365 implementations, focusing on cross-functional deployments.
• Proven experience in vendor management and coordination.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheets, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with change management processes and support activities.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and principles, particularly Azure and M365 services.
• Knowledge of IT compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC-2, ISO 27001).
• Ability to manage technical projects and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong ability to present security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Align security initiatives with business and IT strategies.
• Guide teams in implementing best practices for clinical operations.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong ability to mentor and guide development teams, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skill in managing multiple projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high quality solutions within deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant Azure/M365 certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or M365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Passion for staying up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leadership, technical teams, and vendors to ensure project alignment and maintain effective communication throughout the project.
• Support change management efforts by coordinating training, end-user communications, and feedback collection to support adoption.
• Oversee vendor related tasks, ensuring they meet project goals and contract requirements.
• Work alongside deployment engineers, technicians, and other technical staff to ensure implementations align with scope and technical specifications.
• Coordinate and assist with technical proof of concept initiatives and pilot rollouts to validate project plans.
• Provide regular project status updates, including milestones, risks, issues, and budget tracking, to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify project risks and issues, document mitigation plans, and escalate concerns as needed to leadership.
