About The Position

The Enterprise Infrastructure & Technology Platforms (EITP) organization at McKesson provides the core technology foundation that enables McKesson to advance health outcomes for all. The team delivers secure, scalable, and reliable services across key areas including network and telecom, core infrastructure and cloud platforms, and endpoint technology solutions. These capabilities enable business agility, operational excellence, and seamless user experiences across the enterprise. The Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure Mergers & Acquisitions leads delivery of infrastructure initiatives supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, resources, and risks across projects that enable Day 1 readiness and Day 2 transition outcomes. The role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, execution discipline, and delivery of business value.

Requirements

  • 6–8 years of experience leading IT projects
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in matrixed environments
  • Experience with M&A, system integrations, or infrastructure delivery
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including networking and connectivity
  • Experience applying Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologies

  • Experience coordinating vendors and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience with tools such as Planview, Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project

Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure projects across all lifecycle phases, including due diligence, planning, execution, and stabilization
  • Define project scope and deliverables across networking/connectivity, cloud/hosting, identity, and endpoint services
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure alignment on objectives and timelines
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate to maintain project momentum
  • Support Day 1 readiness and Day 2 transition execution for M&A initiatives
  • Maintain project governance, including status reporting, communication plans, and decision tracking
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and security standards
  • Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement activities
