About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking an IT Program Manager to work in an Agile, fast-paced Network Infrastructure and security-focused environment. The candidate will perform day-to-day team and customer requirements management and will work with the customer and others to develop and mature short/long-term and strategic objectives to ensure that end-user requirements will be satisfied. This role requires a minimum of 11 years of IT management experience and a preferred Bachelor's or Master's Degree in relevant disciplines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 11 years IT management experience.
  • Proficient in planning, directing, and coordinating team, projects, and network engineering efforts using the Agile methodology.
  • Significant experience providing program management for engineering programs.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working on government enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement.
  • Proficiency in multi-tasking.
  • Good communicator and facilitator.
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels from engineer to senior staff.
  • Highly capable of formulating and executing aggressive but reasonable acquisition and engineering schedules in coordination with multiple subcontractors and technology vendor partners, both large and small.
  • Conversant in modern Network Engineering best practices, network technology, and automation of network provisioning.
  • Strong in use of agile management methodology.
  • Proficient in identifying risks and documenting team progress including implementation, time lines, issues, risks, quality and success measures to meet customer established requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous IT PM experience directly supporting the Intelligence Community.
  • Program Management Profession (PMP) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day team and customer requirements management.

  • Identify risks and document team progress, including implementation, timelines, issues, risks, quality, and success measures.
  • Provide weekly status reporting to leadership on progress toward objectives.
