About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Consultant to lead a sole-source procurement process for a cloud-based licensing and enforcement system. The analyst will manage procurement documentation, evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate pricing and contract terms, coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers, assess risks, gather requirements, and support project closure. The assignment is 20 hours per week for 8 weeks. Candidates must physically reside in the United States throughout the assignment. Local Richmond candidates are preferred. The initial interview will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, followed by an in-person interview.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in procurement and supplier management, including cloud solutions.
• At least 8 years of contract and vendor negotiation experience.
• At least 8 years of technical writing and requirements-gathering experience.
• Must physically reside in the United States throughout the assignment.
• Must be available for 20 hours per week for the full 8-week assignment.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Virginia public procurement laws.
• Familiarity with VITA cloud-hosted security requirements.
• Local Richmond candidates preferred.
